Junior Footwear Merchandiser
We are looking for a proactive Junior Footwear Merchandiser to support our international buyer accounts. You will assist senior merchandisers with shoe last development, leather swatches, counter-sample tracking, prototype fit trials, bill of materials (BOM), cost sheets, and overseas buyer communications.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree in Leather Engineering & Technology (IIT/LETT, DU), Footwear Design, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration (BBA/MBA).
- Basic understanding of footwear manufacturing, shoe lasts, leather grades (full-grain, nubuck, split), and sole compounds (EVA, TPR, Rubber, PU).
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills for daily overseas buyer correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, costings, BOM tracking) and presentation software.
- Ability to coordinate between foreign shoe brands, local tanneries, sole molders, and shoe factories.
- Fresh graduates with passion for shoemaking and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
